Colombian choreographer, dancer, and performer, His work weaves contemporary, urban, and traditional Colombian dance to explore memory, nostalgia, and different ways of connecting with audiences. Rooted in movement research, his practice approaches dance as a space for knowledge production, emotional dialogue, and community encounter.
In 2025, he premiered KUMBÉ, an evening-length solo presented at K3 Tanzplan Hamburg as part of the Limited Edition residency. The piece reinterprets Colombian cumbia as a farewell dance. Marino co-choreographed Tie Break, created by Constantin Trommlitz for Explore Dance – Tanz für junges Publikum, and provided choreographic support for Football Echoes by Belgian choreographer Ahilan Ratnamohan, premiered at Kampnagel.
Based in Hamburg, he has taught at the Contemporary Dance School Hamburg (CDSH) and participated in the Bottom Up Dance School II program. In Colombia, he co-directed the traditional dance company Tributo Pisabarro and worked as a dancer and choreographer for television and film. He holds a degree in Performing Arts with a focus on Dance and Somatics from Pontificia Universidad Javeriana in Bogotá.
